How do I back up my Vibrant account?

Backing up your Vibrant account is essential for ensuring that you can always access your funds, even if you lose access to your email or phone number. The best way to do this is by creating a backup phrase. This backup phrase is a unique list of 12 words that acts as a last-resort password for your account.

Before you create your backup phrase, please note:

• Your backup phrase grants complete access to your wallet, even if you lose your phone number or email.
• Never show or share your backup phrase with anyone.
• Vibrant will never, ever ask you your backup phrase.

To create your backup phrase:

1. Go to your profile by clicking on your initial, located at the top right of the screen.
2. Select “Privacy & Security”.
3. Click on “Back up my account”.
4. Click “Create backup phrase”.
5. Vibrant will generate a list of 12 words. Please write this list down and store it in a safe place. The application will not display it again.
6. Once the list is copied, the application will ask you to enter some of the words provided to verify that you have saved them correctly.
7. Once you have created the recovery phrase, you can click “Finish” to complete the process.

To recover your account using your backup phrase:

1. Open the Vibrant app.
2. Click on “I already have an account”.
3. Select “Continue with backup phrase”.
4. Enter the 12 words that you received as your backup phrase, each of them separated by a space. Then, click on “Continue”.
5. And done! You have successfully recovered your account.
